Level testBook

English lessons built around your working week.

General English from beginner to advanced, taught online in fifty-minute lessons that fit around your job. Speaking comes first, grammar is explained when you need it, and if English alone will not do, your teacher can switch to your language.

Triglot Languages teaches General English online to adults at every level from A1 to C2, one to one or in small groups, with a teacher who holds a Master's degree in English and can explain in Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian or Turkish.

Who it is for

  • Adults who use English at work or want to, at any level from beginner to advanced
  • Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian and Turkish speakers who want the difficult parts explained in their own language
  • People preparing to move to, study in or work in an English-speaking country
  • Parents booking lessons for a school-age child (a parent stays on the account)

What we cover

  • Speaking and listening for real situations: work, travel, appointments, everyday life
  • Grammar explained simply and practised in conversation, not in isolation
  • Vocabulary you will actually use, recorded in your own notebook after every lesson
  • Pronunciation and the rhythm of English, which is where most confidence is lost
  • Reading and writing when your goals need them, from emails to reports

How lessons work

  1. Level test and consultation

A free online test and a twenty-minute call give us your CEFR level and your goals.

  2. A plan for the first month

Four to eight lessons with clear aims, sent to you in writing.

  3. Lessons and homework

Fifty minutes online, notes and new words afterwards, homework that takes fifteen minutes a day.

  4. Progress check

A short review every month and a level re-test after twelve weeks.

A lesson looks like this

  1. Warm-up5 min

A quick chat about your week, in the language you are learning.

  2. Focus20 min

One thing that matters to you now: a phrase set, a grammar point, a real email.

  3. Practice20 min

Role-plays and conversation built on your own situations.

  4. Recap5 min

New words, corrections and homework, sent to you afterwards.

By the end you will

  • Hold a conversation without translating in your head
  • Understand native speakers at natural speed
  • Know your level on the CEFR scale and what the next level needs
  • Have a vocabulary notebook of the words that matter to you

Frequently asked questions

Is my English good enough to start?

Yes. Lessons run from complete beginner (A1) to mastery (C2). The free level test tells you where you are, and the first lessons are pitched exactly there.

Are lessons in English only?

Lessons are in English as much as possible, because that is how you improve. When something will not land, Amila can explain it in Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian or Turkish and then return to English.

How often should I have lessons?

Two lessons a week is the sweet spot for most working adults. One a week works if you do the homework; three or more suits people with a deadline.

Do you teach children?

School-age learners are welcome one to one, booked and managed by a parent. Group classes are for adults only.
