Level testBook

Turkish lessons from the first letter to confident conversation.

A calm, well-structured path through Turkish, from the alphabet to real conversations at work, from A1 to C1. Taught in English or Bosnian by a teacher who learned Turkish at the Yunus Emre Institute and knows exactly where learners get stuck.

Triglot Languages teaches Turkish online from A1 to C1, one to one or in small groups, with explanations in English or Bosnian. Turkish is also used to explain English and Bosnian lessons to Turkish speakers.

Who it is for

  • Bosnians working with Turkish companies, partners or customers
  • Professionals and students heading to Türkiye for work, study or family
  • Partners and families of Turkish speakers who want real conversation, not ten words
  • Learners who have reached an intermediate level with an app and want a teacher to go further

What we cover

  • The alphabet and sounds, including ı, ö, ü, ç, ş and ğ, in the first two lessons
  • Vowel harmony explained once, clearly, then practised until it is automatic
  • Greetings, introductions, shopping, food, directions, dates and times
  • The words Bosnian already shares with Turkish, which is more than you think
  • The suffixes that carry most of the grammar: tenses, cases, possession, questions
  • From B1: subordinate clauses, reported speech, the conditional, and the vocabulary of your work
  • From B2: news, meetings, emails and presentations in Turkish, and the register that fits each

How it works

  1. Level test and consultation

A free online test from A1 to C1, then twenty minutes to hear why you are learning and to set the pace.

  2. A plan for the first month

Beginners start with Turkish First Steps, an eight-session course. Everyone else starts exactly at their level.

  3. Practice between lessons

Short audio and written tasks, fifteen minutes a day.

  4. Review

A written progress note every month and a level check after twelve weeks.

A lesson looks like this

  1. Warm-up5 min

A quick chat about your week, in the language you are learning.

  2. Focus20 min

One thing that matters to you now: a phrase set, a grammar point, a real email.

  3. Practice20 min

Role-plays and conversation built on your own situations.

  4. Recap5 min

New words, corrections and homework, sent to you afterwards.

By the end you will

  • Read and pronounce Turkish correctly
  • Handle everyday life and, at higher levels, meetings and correspondence in Turkish
  • Understand how Turkish builds words, so new vocabulary makes sense
  • Know your level on the CEFR scale, with a school certificate to show it

Frequently asked questions

How far can I go?

From complete beginner to C1. The free level test places you, and the level is re-tested after twelve weeks so progress is measured, not assumed.

Is Turkish easier for Bosnian speakers?

In one way, yes: Bosnian contains hundreds of words borrowed from Turkish, and the sounds are familiar. The grammar is different, and lessons take that difference slowly.
