Terms of service

These terms apply to lessons, courses and services bought from Triglot Languages, the trading name of Amila Kahrimanović, a sole trader in England. The English version of these terms is the one that applies; translations are provided for convenience.

1. Who we are

Triglot Languages is run by Amila Kahrimanović as a sole trader in England, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@triglotlanguages.com.

Lessons are delivered online by video call. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

2. What you are buying

Private lessons are fifty minutes unless stated otherwise. Group course sessions are sixty minutes. A consultation is free and creates no obligation.

Packs of lessons are credits to be used within their validity period: five-lesson packs within six months, ten- and twenty-lesson packs within twelve months of purchase. Validity is extended for documented illness on request.

Group course seats are for the course dates published at the time of booking. A course runs when at least three seats are booked. If fewer are booked three days before the start, you may move to the next start date, keep the amount as credit, or have a full refund.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling with euro prices alongside, and include everything. There are no booking fees. Payment is by card through our payment provider, or by bank transfer for companies and on request.

Your price is locked for twelve months from your first purchase. We will give at least thirty days' notice of any price change that affects you afterwards.

4. Your right to cancel within 14 days

If you are a consumer you may cancel a purchase within fourteen days of making it, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund of anything not yet delivered.

If you ask for lessons to start within those fourteen days and then cancel, you pay for the lessons already delivered at the single-lesson price, and the rest is refunded. You acknowledge at checkout that once all the lessons in a purchase have been delivered, the right to cancel that purchase ends.

To cancel, email hello@triglotlanguages.com with your name and the date of purchase. A model cancellation form is included in your confirmation email.

5. Rescheduling, cancellation and no-shows

You may move or cancel a lesson free of charge up to 24 hours before its start time. Inside 24 hours the lesson counts as used, except for one late change each calendar month, which is free.

If you do not join within fifteen minutes of the start time, the lesson counts as used.

If Amila cancels a lesson, the credit is returned to you. If Amila cancels with less than 24 hours' notice, you also receive a free 25-minute session.

You may pause your lessons at any time and keep your balance.

6. Refunds

Beyond the 14-day period, unused credits may be transferred to another person or, at our discretion, refunded less the value of lessons used at the single-lesson price.

If Triglot Languages stops trading, all unused credits are refunded in full.

Group course sessions you miss are not refunded, because your seat was held for you.

7. Lessons and conduct

Lessons take place on the video platform stated in your confirmation. You need a stable connection, a camera and a microphone.

Lessons are not recorded unless every participant has agreed in writing. Recordings are never made of lessons with under-18s.

We may end a lesson or a programme, with a refund of unused credits, if a learner behaves abusively.

8. Under-18s

Lessons for learners under 18 are booked by a parent or guardian, who holds the account, receives all communication and remains responsible for the learner. Our safeguarding policy applies.

9. Materials

Materials we create for you are for your personal use. Documents you share with us are used only to teach you, kept confidential, and deleted at the end of your programme unless you ask us to keep them.

10. Companies

Where a company buys lessons for its staff, the company's order form or our written proposal sets out the number of hours, the price, payment terms, the notice period and how learners may be substituted. These consumer terms do not apply to company purchases. Invoices are due within fourteen days; late payment carries statutory interest.

11. Liability

We provide lessons with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee an exam result or a particular level by a particular date, because that depends on you as well as on us.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, our liability to you for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

12. Complaints and law

If something goes wrong, email hello@triglotlanguages.com. Complaints are acknowledged within five working days and answered within thirty. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and consumers in other countries keep the protection of their own mandatory consumer law.
